Finally, a teaser of what to expect from the new albums. Yes, I said albums! Apparently both new albums will be released this year. "Man on Fire" is the lead track from the first album Here, due out May 29th. Let's celebrate by running through dew soaked meadows in nothing but leather fringed vests and pants. ENjO!

GARDENS & VILLA - "BLACK HILLS"

Band Bio: In 2008, synth-driven indie pop group Gardens & Villa formed in Santa Barbara, California. With an album's worth of sugary, celebratory tunes under their belt, guitarist Chris Lynch, keyboardist Adam Rasmussen, bassist Shane McKillop, and drummer Levi Hayden traveled to Oregon to record their self-titled debut. Gardens & Villa was completed over the course of two weeks, under the supervision of Secretly Canadian labelmate Richard Swift, and released in the summer of 2011. Around this time, multi-instrumentalist Dusty Ineman was brought on board for live shows.

THE DODOS - "SO COLD"

Days like today in Brooklyn make me miss the West. It has been cold and snowing off an on but not enough to do anything fun. I hate winters where it doesn't snow! I grew up in Idaho and like my seasons on the extreme side.

My winter months are usually spent on the mountains snowboarding as much as possible. But this year, the snow levels are absolutely abysmal near NYC. I feel like if I don't go snowboarding soon I will have a break down. Hence the teary eyed Dodos longing for X-treme winter entertainment.
