With an album's worth of sugary, celebratory tunes under their belt, guitarist Chris Lynch, keyboardist Adam Rasmussen, bassist Shane McKillop, and drummer Levi Hayden traveled to Oregon to record their self-titled debut. Gardens & Villa was completed over the course of two weeks, under the supervision of Secretly Canadian labelmate Richard Swift, and released in the summer of 2011. Around this time, multi-instrumentalist Dusty Ineman was brought on board for live shows.

Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 2:08PM I am feeling lazy about writing words. Sometimes writing words is hard. I know I'm not a writer, I would much rather do a collage or some kind of art to express how I feel about songs/bands etc. But that requires endless amounts of free time. Which I always don't have. This song is awesome! I love the semi-funky driving bass line throught. This beautiful video, shot somewhere in the NorthWest (looks like BC) makes me want to ditch the city, like...yesterday. I want to be there looking for leprechauns and Shetland Ponycorns until I find wild berries next to a fresh spring. I would take those fresh berries and make little tacos out of watercress and eat them till I blacked out and then dreamed I was still wearing headgear at my prom. Let this song take you there. ENjO!
