MILANO SUN - "ALREADY GONE"
Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 1:51PM It's almost 60 degrees in New York today and this song fits right at home with the sun and the cool breeze. I can't help but think this song sounds like Empire of the Sun writing a summer time pop song. ENjO!
It’s early spring in Milano. Three young men from Sweden have comfortably seated themselves on the bench in one of the parks to enjoy the Milano sun. They travel through Europe by train and they have been staying in this city for three days, to later continue their journey towards the south coast of France. They travel with two guitars and a drum to write and to be inspired by the different cities of Europe and their cultures. The plan is to write an entire album, one song in each city.
On the bench in one of parks of Milano they are eating their breakfast and writing a song that would mean more to them than what they could have anticipated. ‘Dear Milano, I guess the feeling is, right infront of me, close my eyes again. Dear Milano, oh my eyes again drip down in the water. She’s so high, burning like the sun. I listen to her smile, butterflies. She’s so high, burning like the sun. Shining like a star, in my arms’. - Band website
