INBOX: ANOTHER - "MAIKA" & SINCE JUNE (LP)

It is becoming my new favorite thing to get wonderful music sent to me via my INBOX. I was sent some pretty amazing music by Douglas McGillivray of the band Another. Usually when the artist gives away their full album free is throws up a red flag, but not in this case. The music sounds like a mix between Phoenix and Cut Copy but with more beat experimentation. His bandcamp page describes the sound as "intimate Ocean Pop: and that is not far off either. It's definitely lazy beach day ready. INBOX: JORDAN BOLTON - "Love Was Always Cruel, It Just Wasn't Cruel To Me"

I'm constantly amazed at the music being made by teenagers. I feel like I read about 19/20-year olds making solid music all time time on my blog surfs (ie. Lady Lamb the Beekeper & Youth Lagoon). Jordan Bolton is one of them. He sent me this song this afternoon and I figured I would give it a mention. The song is just simple, solid indie rock that I wish I had the talent to make when I was 19. ENjO!
