KEEPYOURFACERADICAL 12/12 MIX

Final KYFR mix of the year!! Its a bit shorter than I normally like them but I am going home for Chirstmas to be with family and hopefully snowboard a lot.

The mix art comes by from a very talented artsit and friend Felipe Merida. it just had a show called "POLAR" here in NYC lst month and every piece sold. He has a really unique style of watercolor and ink with this series featuring amazing negative space with really lends to giving the images the polar feeling. I really wanted to buy the Walrus art but I was just a hair late and somebody beat me to the punch. The supplied typography, basing it on old Inuit artist marks and symbols. More than anything this month I just wanted to highlight the amazing art of my friend. Check out his blog for more: Tipi Thieves and Step On Inside.

INBOX: GEMS - "ALL I EVER"

KEEPYOURFACERADICAL 11/12 MIX (NOVEMBEARD EDITION)

 Really sorry the mix is late this month but November was super busy and I had a personal matter that came up the last week of November that required me to be out of town.

This mix art this month was inspired Movember/Novembeard. I found this photo a while ago an I think it might be the crazy character from the True Grit remake (who stole the movie for me). He has the most epic beard ever! I added some color and hand drawn texture on the wolf pelt to modernize it a bit and then some cave painting typography helps finish it off. 

The songs on the mix are all over the map this month. From Celestial Wave to Slo-Brains Trip Roc. ENjO!

Best video of the year for an amazing song by People Get Ready. Their self titled album is quickly becoming one of my 2012 favs. Some of the dance moves of those skeletons is pretty next level. ENjO¡
